Yulia Kryvenko is a clinical psychologist, specialized in EMDR therapy. She is also the assistant professor of social work at Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University. She has numerous scientific research publications in international conferences and scientific journals. Her current research interest areas are; international migration in the era of globalization, cross-border marriages and cultural adaptation, Art Therapy and EMDR for PTSD in adults and children. She received several awards & honors including; Erasmus Teaching Mobility Grant, Best Paper presenter of Barcelona – International Conference on Research in Social Science & Humanities, Keynote Speaker at 15th International Conference on Research in Life-Sciences & Healthcare and Keynote Speaker at 2022 – 5th International Conference on Psychology & Psychiatry.
For around 5 years, she has been conducting sessions in the fields of EMDR therapy, art therapy and couple counselling. She has been working with wide range of mental health difficulties including PTSD, anxiety disorders, depression, eating disorders and OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorders). She offers sessions in Russian, English and Turkish.
